February Contest

Dear Gentle Readers,

I am trying something new in the month of February to try to get my short story/recipe book Echo of Heartbreak, A Recipe for Life into the hands of more readers.  Everyone who purchases Echo in paperback or digital form and sends me proof of purchase, either your digital order number or a screenshot of your purchase record, by commenting here or by emailing it to me at                          carolannkauffman@gmail.com will be eligible to win a $15 Amazon Gift Card, to be awarded on March 1st.

Echo is a different kind of love story and anyone who has a daughter or a mother will understand. Some comments from recent reviews are:

"This book broke my heart and healed it all in one sitting. I suggest that all mothers share this book with their daughters and visa versa. It is a story of a young mothers struggle to leave a legacy of knowledge and some tasty ideas. I truly loved this book and will share with my daughters and grandaughters. I hope that eveyone will take the advice of this loving mother. Carol Ann Kauffman truly captures the human spirit in this loving tribute to women everywhere."

"Echo of Heartbreak: A Recipe for Life, by Carol Ann Kauffman,is a heartwarming story of love and devotion a mother has for her unborn child. Knowing she may not live through the pregnancy or childbirth, she is still determined to bring her child into the world. So she begins to leave a legacy in the form of a journal, filled with tips of how to live a good life and adds recipes from her Italian heritage.

This is an extremely enjoyable story filled with emotion and sentiment. It shows, on every page, the love this mom has for her child, no matter what and plans ahead to teach her child about love and devotion. I also like the way the author enveloped the journal entries and the recipes in between the pages of the story, to tug our heart strings along, every step of the way."

"Wow! This is both heart-breaking and hugely absorbing, the storytelling is fast paced and exceptionally well written, I loved the conversational style of Melina and the direct and honest outpouring of emotions. The recipes are both informative and wonderful, and certainly a surprise and innovative element of the narrative. This is the second book I have read by Carol and this continued to delight and engage, hugely recommend."
