Talus (the story, not the alien prince dropped on Earth for his own protection) began its life as a serial on Amazon’s short-lived and unpublicized platform, Vella, which has been discontinued.

Talus is the story of a young male humanoid who is the Crown Prince of Korbus, a planet under attack from a vicious, savage, wolf-like species, hellbent on destroying his planet. His father, the King, decides to send his only son and heir to a nearby planet inhabited by a very similar humanoid species. Earth.

Now being a member of the royal family on Korbus has left the young prince a bit unprepared for life on his own. A bit spoiled and whiny, the young, handsome Talus is quite used to depending on his servants for just about everything.

Talus gets to Earth in one piece, only to discover he is now in the body of a middle age “courier” who drinks too much, gambles, and lives in a rundown apartment building in the Midwest. 

This is where our story begins. I think you’ll enjoy Talus’ adventures here on Earth.
