Sea Witch Needs a Review
Dear Gentle Readers,
Sea Witch is a full-length soft sci-fi novel. It's the story of a man, a woman, and a sea creature. This sea creature, this mermaid is no Ariel from the Little Mermaid or Madison from Splash.
Dr. Laura Martin, Chief Extraterrestrial Life Scientist at The Touchstone Institute of Oceanographic Research, noticed troubling but subtle changes in the Atlantic Ocean. Before she could make sense of it all, her longtime assistant abruptly walked out. Laura hired young, handsome Scott Conner to be her personal assistant. Mayhem ensued, mainly because of Zara, the mermaid/siren/monster in the basement of the Touchstone Institute, who eyed Scott as her possible mate in a plot for total domination of planet Earth.
“The Touchstone Institute of Oceanographic Research is the most fantastic, exhilarating place on the planet to work. It is high energy, exciting, sometimes maddening, often frightening, heart pounding work. It’s not a job. It’s a lifetime commitment. It gets in your blood. It grabs you by the throat and possesses you, body and soul. And it is work. If you’re not prepared to work your ass off day in and day out, weekends, holidays, your birthday, and your mamma’s birthday, leave now.”
Right now Sea Witch has nine reviews. For me to get it promoted on sites like Fussy Librarian and others, it needs ten.
If you are interested in reading Sea Witch, kindle format, and giving it an honest review, please comment below or email me at

and I will gift you a kindle copy from Amazon.com.
Thank you,

The Passers Box Set by Loretta Laird
Dear Gentle Readers,
One of my all-time favorite books is now out in a box set! Loretta Laird created a fantasy world in The Passers that can rival any out there. It was the kind of story that just pulled you into it and refused to let you go.
Here is the introduction in the author's words:
Here is my review of Passers:

Universal in nature, each story provides a glimpse of what women empowerment or a lack thereof can mean in a person’s life.

About the Author:
Jonali Karmakar is a fiction writer with a Masters in
English. Writing is not just her passion but her way of dealing with life. She
loves being able to escape into the worlds she creates. Everything that she
writes becomes a part of her and she wants her readers to know the woman behind
those words. In addition to being an educator, she works as a content editor
for a local news portal. She has been providing editing, proofreading and
translation services for the past few years.
Jonali’s work has been published in several journals, anthologies and poetry collections both national and international. An avid reader, she loves flipping pages of anything and everything on the table and reviewing the same on her blog Eclectic Moods. She feels that reading and writing are the flip sides of the same coin. Writing is her way of communicating with the world. When she’s not writing or teaching she loves to experiment with her paintings.
She has quite a few accolades to her name.
