TV TIME: Ghosted (Apple TV)

 Critics hated this spy thriller rom com with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas. They said Chris and Ana had no chemistry, which is true. Both Chris and Ana were nominated for Worst Actor in a Movie. 

I did not find it all that bad. Chris Evans of Captain America fame, was actually cute and funny in this. And Ana, who played Marilyn Monroe, was very good at the physical side of this karate kicking, punching, sharpshooting spy role and much more believable as a kick-ass spy than as Marilyn Monroe. 

BOOK REVIEW: Somewhere in the Night by Julie Mulhern

 

A perfect little Thanksgiving murder mystery from my very favorite series, Julie Mulhern’s Country Club Murders.  I love Ellison! 

This novella about Thanksgiving Dinner with Auntie and some ragtag relatives will leave you wanting more Ellison.
