The Town Around the Christmas Tree, Jacob's Message is the story about a family gathering on Christmas Eve, told in Charles Dickens fashion but with very contemporary characters. It is the continuation of the Town Under the Christmas Tree, where the same cousins had quite an adventure in a faraway, dangerous place and although reading the first one gives you familiarity and background, I think story can stand alone. The solid, believable characters pull you in and Jacob's message will touch your heart. I highly recommend this Christmas story. JR Wirth does not disappoint.
