BOOK REVIEW: Mistletoe and Moonglow by Deborah Garner

Mistletoe at Moonglow, the Moonglow Christmas Book, by

Deborah Garner is a Christmas story/recipe book about a young

woman named Mist who works her magic at a lovely rural hotel in

Montana. Mist cooks, bakes, paints miniatures, and makes

extravagant floral arrangements, all while dispensing a good

healthy dose of kindness and consideration for everyone she

meets. When does this girl sleep?

Two things are important to point out.

One, this novella sets the stage for a lovely and delightful series

with Mist as our domestic goddess guide.

Two, I am happily reading along and I come across my own

name! At first it was a bit of a shocker. But then I remembered

Deborah asking for cookie recipes for a project -- and this was it.

Is it one of those wonderful family recipes I had to pry out of my

dying mother's mind before she left this earth?  Well, you'll have

to read Mistletoe at Moonglow to find out!

And as of right now, it is free.
