Children of the Future by Jane Suen was a delightful surprise for me. As a former primary schoolteacher, I picked up this book because it had a school bus in the cover. And then I could not put it down. A bus driver shows up to pick up the children after school. But no one is there. This X-Files-type mystery is every parent and teacher's worst nightmare. Jane Suen kept me guessing until the very end.
