Dear Gentle Readers,
This is the cover most of you are familiar with for Belterra. Thousands of copies of Belterra have been downloaded with this cover. It is not the first one, which was taken in a grape vineyard in Italy in 2006.
Grape Vineyard in Tuscany
taken by ME after a few lovely
samples of extremely
good red wine.
The newest cover, by the wonderful Suzi Albracht of Wickedly Awesome Designs, is by far the best at conveying an image of the story.
Can one person make a difference?
When Neeka, daughter of the Lord of the Warrior Clan, was out picking lavender in their vast fields of the West, she felt a stirring in her heart. She felt him coming for her, and she was ready for him.
When Braedon, Lord of the Soldier Clan of the East, rode into those lavender fields, searching for the woman he had dreamed of so often, he had no idea if she were even real. But there she was, standing there looking up at him, smiling.
He reached his hand down to her. She accepted, thus beginning their new adventures together, changing not only their lives forever, but the course of life, unity, and the political structure on their planet forever. An alien planet.
Or is it?
Belterra is available in paperback and kindle format on. Amazon at
I am finishing up the sequel to Belterra, called Dark Return, Belterra Book 2. It is ready to roll. I just got the finalized cover artwork.
I will be giving it away in December to my newsletter group, a wonderful bunch of readers who have supported me for years, who have stood with me through bad editing, Amazon's removal of reviews saying all those people from London and Glasgow were my neighbors, and who have encouraged me to keep writing when I felt overwhelmed and underloved.
