"Goddess in a Twilight Landscape is a two-dimensional
8 X 8 art piece by Parker Kaufman. It was completed on
October 13, 2018. Several of the elements of this work are
hand cut from foam board and affixed to the surface of the
foam board background, giving it a deeper dimensional
appearance.
The inspirational for this piece came from the painting
Venus and Adonis by 17th century Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens. I find Rubens' 'curvaceous' women subjects stunningly beautiful, embodying a gracefulness that transcends movement."
