Good morning, Anna, and welcome to Vision and Verse, the site for art and book lovers. Can you tell us a little about what you've written?

I have written a series of children’s books “My First Travel Books” and two Greek recipe books. I decided to write because I love teaching young children and giving them my knowledge. Children have to be taught to read from a young age and they love books, they have curious little minds.

What is your favorite genre to write?

How old were you when you started writing?

I started writing at a young age, but I only published a few years ago when I came to the USA. The children were curious and had questions of the world beyond them, they did not realize and know that there was a world bigger than theirs.

Do you plan out your book with outlines and notecards? Or just write?
I plan my book with notecards and outlines.

Describe your perfect evening.
A relaxing evening at home with my husband and family over diner enjoying the fun stories that we reminisce from back home, Zimbabwe, Africa.

Where do you get your inspiration?
I draw my inspiration from our son Captain Frankie who worked at his dream career and a commercial pilot. He is the main character in our children’s travel books and from my family in general as well as my autistic student children that I love to teach and read to, they love to listen to stories and about the world beyond them.

My youngest son Frankie for his determination and hard work to be successful in life and with his dream career that he continues to succeed with.

If you could sit down and have a conversation with ONE person, living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be and why?
With a Greek philosopher, they had wide knowledge and myths to tell in true life’s experiences.
