Good morning, Justin, and welcome to Vision and Verse, a site for art and authors. Can you tell us a little about what you've written? 
I’ve written a self-help book which sheds light on how eliminating distractions can help you find your passion and purpose, and how to go after the things you want in life.

What is your favorite genre to write? 
Self-Help Non-Fiction.          

Favorite food. 
I love RIBS!

Tea or coffee? 
Coffee

Pizza or ice cream? 
Ice cream

Wine or beer? 
Either or

Where would you like to visit? 
Italy

GO! Go now, or as soon as you can. Italy is a wonderful experience. Favorite musical artist.  Do you listen to music when you write? 
I don’t really have one and I do not listen to music when I write.

What makes you laugh? 
Random things

How old were you when you started writing? 
33

Do you plan out your book with outlines and notecards? Or just write? Outline for sure!

Describe your perfect evening. 
Sunset warm summer night with a breeze sitting with my wife and having a nice drink.

Where do you get your inspiration? 
Honestly, from myself!

What do you do when you get a writer's block? 
Start writing something, ANYTHING!

What would you do for a living if you weren’t a writer? 
What I am currently doing. I have a personal development company.

Who is the one person who has influenced your personal life the most and why? 
My uncle John. He was the first African American that I knew who achieved success.

                                                                  
If you could sit down and have a conversation with ONE person, living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be and why? 
Martin Luther King jr. So inspirational!

What advice would you give someone who aspired to be a writer? 
Do it from a place of passion!
