Evangeline by Emory Adkins is a Must Read for all ages. It is the story of a small group of people struggling to survive in a post-pandemic apocalyptic world, specifically the American Southwest. The subject matter is so current and timely it’s scary. But the well written episodes give us more than fear. They give us some of the best writing I’ve encountered on Vella.
