ENTERTAINMENT: The Beforeigners (HBO Max)

Oh, this one is a hoot! Vikings show up in the ocean and are integrated into life in twenty-first century Norway. The Norwegians call them the Beforeigners and are very prejudicial.

The story begins when police detective Lars is given a new partner, a Beforeigner named Alfhildr. Their first case together is that of a Beforeigner women left on the beach with her throat slit. Clues point to Jack, the Ripper.

There are two seasons. It's on HBO Max. I enjoyed it. You might, too.
