TV TIME: Monsters of Man (Tubi)

If you enjoy a good 'military robotics company goes rouge to justify a lucrative government contract' movie, and who doesn't, then this one is for you. I watched the beginning and was lost. It seemed like the old bang bang shoot 'em up plot that holds your attention because of the action but has no plot, nobody you're rooting for, and no heart.

But I was wrong. Once the building blocks of the story started to fall into place, it was a good story.

The killer robot company sends four of its deluxe models to destroy a little drug manufacturing camp in South American to proof  to the government they are worthy of this big, lucrative contract they have their cold hearts set on.

Robots kill some drug guys, and also some innocents.
A group of doctors who are down there doing humanitarian work
witness the murders and are now the new targets of the deluxe killer robots.

It had a story. It had heart. And more than one character who you became emotionally invested in.

I watched it free on Tubi.
