ART: Dr. William Gordon, Street Photgrapher, Riverside Fellowship Gardens Weller Gallery, MCP

The stunning black and white photography of Dr. William Gordon, prominent Youngstown area dentist, is presently showcased at the Weller Gallery, Riverside Fellowship Gardens, in beautiful Mill Creek Park, a gem of Mahoning County. 

 

My husband and I had the pleasure of a gallery walk-through this afternoon. Many of the photo are of the Youngstown area and its citizens, animals, and locations. 

There is something about black and white photography that reduces a 

image to its quintessential form. 

Take away the elegant gold frames. Remove the colors, both bright and pastel, and there you have it.
