Sophie, a coffee connoisseur and mystery buff, is employed in an elegant castle called Charleston House, where the ancestral grounds are used for the annual local village festival. While attending the festival, a young coffee grinder/seller is murdered.
Sophie tries to piece together the clues to solve this local young man’s death without stepping on the toes of a certain charming detective from the local police force.
Art theft, gin and tonic cupcakes, a Duke and Duchess, coffee beans and grinders, stolen art works, this well-written fast paced cozy mystery has it all. I truly enjoyed it. I highly recommend to an mystery lover.
