With attention to historic detail and a firm grasp of pioneer life in Ohio history, Rebecca wove the tale of a young pioneer woman whose beauty caused her unwanted attention, ultimately causing her life to spiral out of her control. It was the story of sweet gentle love in a dark and sometimes brutal time period. Outstanding writing. Unforgettable story. I highly recommend.
