Bones’ Emily Deschanel stars in a romantic science fiction film currently free to view on Tubi. In this totally different role from the brillante Temperance Brennan, forensic pathologist, Emily plays the low-key, quiet wife of a former- astronaut scientist who entered a portal in a scientific experiment and disappearance. After a period of investigation, he is declared deceased. A year passes.
One day, he walks back through the portal, believing he has only been gone a few minutes. While scientists and the world in general are elated and are celebrating his return, his wife soon begins to notice some unsettling details.
This was a slow starter. Stick with it.
