Good morning, L.T. and welcome to Vision and Verse, the Place for Art and Authors.  We ar thrilled to love you with us this morning.  Falling Into You looks fabulous.  What is your favorite genre to write?
I've really enjoyed writing about vampires and werewolves. My love for anything but them meant they had to feature in my first novels. Now I've done that I'm side stepping into contemporary adult romance.

Favorite food?
Steak, I love steak. I like it rare, bordering on blue.

Tea or coffee?
Coffee, although I get told I should be drinking tea because I'm British! It's funny the idea's we have about how a certain nationality should behave isn't it.

Pizza or ice cream?
Ice cream, only because carbs wreak havoc on me.

Where would you like to visit?
Anywhere in the USA. I have so many friends there. I'd love to go visit some of them.

Favorite musical artist and do you listen to music when you write?
I have to listen to music while I write. In 'Falling into You' each chapter is based on a song. I listen to such varying music I couldn't possibly list them all.

What makes you laugh?
Anything ironic. I have a dry and warped sense of humour.

Favorite work of art.
Erm, my book covers?

How old were you when you started writing?
Around eleven years old.

Describe your perfect evening.
Wine, silence and a Macbook.

Where do you get your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from everything I hear, see and touch. As a writer you need to draw on every experience you've ever had. With these books I drew on what I love, vampires. Having said that, a lot of reviewers commented that the first book was really about a girl who just happened to be a vampire. I loved that because I felt the same when I wrote it. It isn't a story reliant on the supernatural aspect.

What do you do when you get writer's clock?
Honestly, I fire up youtube and watch Dirty Dancing's clip of 'Cry to Me'. God I love that scene. It never gets old to me.

Who is your favorite author?
I don't really have one in particular, although I adore Mills and Boon novels.

Best book you ever read.
I can't go on ever, I've read too many great books. The best book I've read this year is 'Hyde' by Lauren Stewart. The entire series is amazing!

Who is the one peson who have influences tour personal life the most and why?
My Granddad who sadly passed away when I was fifteen. He had a band and was a very creative and talented man. He would be so proud that I found my own creative level and did something with it. I miss him so much.

If you could sit down and have a conversation with ONE person, living to dead, real or fictional, who would it be and why?
Rik Bertrand has written many poems about my novels, two have been published in the back of them. He is prolific and an inspiration. I would love to be able to meet him face-to-face. The internet is all well and good but it just isn't the same as a real hug.

What advice would you give an aspiring author?
Keep trying until it's right. Don't be scared. Hire and editor and a cover designer. Don't do anything until you've done all of the above.
