BOOK REVIEW: A Spoonful of Poison by M.C. Beaton

I loved M.C. Beaton. The late Scottish author is my very favorite author. Curling up with a new Beaton book is like spending time with a dear, interesting, amusing, old friend.

She was the author of the Agatha Raisin series, as well as the Hamish MacBeth series. Both are wonderful. I love them both.

In A Spoonful of Poison, Agatha Raisin is asked to help with a neighboring village's fundraiser, and while she plans to refuse a plea for help, at the last minute, she is swayed into helping by a handsome villager.

As always, a great read. Miss you, Marion Chesney Gibbons, better known as M.C. Beaton!
