In this surprising time travel story, Gillian Anderson's character Marika is married to the handsome, attentive Rufus Sewell, whose character is a well-known physicist. 

Well, he goes to a conference and disappears off the face of the Earth.

Marika has trouble coping with the loss of the love of her life's odd disappearance. 

Their sweet little boy grows up to be a genius physicist much like his father and uncovers a formula that solves the mystery of his father's disappearance.

This was a good time travel movie. Gillian Anderson, as always, was fantastic.
