BOOK: A Woman Named Hope by Carol Ann Kauffman

This story, A Woman Named Hope, first appeared in an anthology of stories about women going through dark times and emerging stronger on the other side of their tribulations. The anthology, Through the Darkness, Stories of Hope is available on Amazon.com and is a compilation of advice and guidance on getting through dark times.

My story is the tale of a child in Italy, very secure and smart, who has a wonderful relationship with her father.

One day, her father disappeared and her whole world fell apart, loss after loss, until she had nothing. But through it all, the woman named Hope never gave up.
