If you haven’t seen this fifteen-year-old film yet, you’re missing out. Argo is the crazy, far-fetched story of how CIA agent Tony Mendez rescued a team of Americans from Iran in the middle of the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1978-1980 by pretending to be a film crew scouting a location for a sci-fi film. It will have you on the edge of your seat. The writing is outstanding and the directing is superb. It did not hurt that it was also loaded with talented actors who all did an outstanding job.
We saw this years ago at the theater. We watched on TV tonight. It was just as suspenseful and thrilling. Don’t miss it!
