Metro, a Russian film dubbed in English streaming free on YouTube, was a real surprise. It was an outstanding disaster movie. A flood occurs in the subway tunnels beneath Moscow during the busiest time of the day.
On the subway, there is an outstanding Russian surgeon with his young daughter. Also in the same subway car is that surgeon’s wife’s lover. Somehow they recognize each other.
The flooding and subsequent destruction of the tunnels under the city and the knowledge of the whereabouts of a secret tunnel bunker add to the tension as a series of rescue attempts all fail.
