The Mark Kane Mysteries Series Book One: Forget Me Not by John Hemmings is a terrific murder mystery with great suspense. Mark Kane, private investigator, is one of the best characters I’ve encountered. These books need to be a Netflix series! Wealthy socialite Gloria dies shortly after reuniting with the daughter she gave up for adoption as a young woman. Mark Kane is hired to find out if this newly-found daughter is who she says she is, because Gloria left her a large estate. What Mark finds out is something entirely different.
