Based on the book by Shelby Van Pelt, Remarkably Bright Creatures tells the story of a widow who cleans at an aquarium and her relationship with an octopus named Marcellus and a drifter named Cameron.
This mystery drama is about grief and seeking answers in order to heal after a crushing loss.
Marcellus, the octopus, is stellar in this film. He is voiced by Alfred Molina, but he has a personality all of his own. Sally Fields does an outstanding job, also. The location plays a significant role in this sweet/sad film.
